Review

This is a huge lake near Beaulieu in the New Forest - It's located in typical heathland, and is owned by the forestry commission.  As such there is public access to all areas of this venue, so be prepared for Dogs and Children in your swim, and the 20 questions from passing members of the public.  Our advise is to move away from the convenience of the car park and locate on the far banks of the lake.  Round this side the water is allot deeper, and your likely to find the fish looking for sanctuary from all the noise.

This venue does have some amazing slabs of Bream in it, and fishes well during the colder parts of the year.

Tactics

This water lends itself to ledgering, of quiver tip fishing due to it's depth.  Putting in plenty of ground bait or free morsels will be a shore fire way of attracting the Bream into your swim.
