Review
This is a rural venue located to the East of Romsey - Access is via the track way after the railway bridge that leads to the garden machinery workshops. The venue is predominantly made up of Canal style swims that are on average 2feet - 4feet deep, with the main lake on the complex being suitable for 4-5 anglers to fish at the same time. Access to all the swims is via gravel tracks and provides easy access from the car park with the minimum amount of walking involved.
This venue is very good for the beginner, or someone looking to bag up on small Carp - During the summer months this venue can become very busy at the weekend due to Match bookings.
Tactics
The canal style swims that make up the majority of this venue are best fished on light float gear on using pole - This venue isn't a large carp waters, so you won't need 10lb main line here. Fish seem to respond very well to Castor's, and natural baits - try not to over feed the swims.
Fishing Fools Rating
