Review

This venue is located just outside Southampton, and to the South of Romsey - If it wasn't for the major M27 motorway being but a few feet away from the lakes this would be an ideal venue.  Unfortunately due to the proximity of the Motorway, there is allot of noise during the day, and into the night which means this isn't a suitable destination for anyone seeking the peace and quiet of the countryside.  On the other hand, this venue currently stocks some of Hampshire's largest Carp, and for the budding angler this might provide to be the ideal destination to get your first double figure.  The facility's of this venue cater more to the Carp angler with toilets and showers at hand for those long Night sessions when your searching for that perfect specimen fish.

Tactics

This is a large carp water and requires suitably scaled tackle and equipment - Fishing on the main lake should be using 10lb main line as a minimum.
