Review

This venue consists of two ponds located near the picturesque North Solent Nature Reserve close to the New Forest.  The ponds are stocked with Carp from 4lbs up to 25lbs, Bream (Skimmers), Chubb, Roach, Rudd and Tench and the general up keep of the venue being good.  There are no facilities at this venue, so possibly not the ideal family fishing destination or the last minute get away.

Tactics

This venue is managed well, and the fishing stock is kept at a good level.  Natural baits work best at this venue, with the legendary red maggot being devastating for skimmers, roach and perch and the occasional carp.  There are generally no "preferred" swims at this venue, all the swims will have you bagging up on a good day, however for the one's that are fishing better, speak to the bailiff when purchasing your day tickets and he will point you in the right direction.
