BEGINNERS - Using a Feeder with Float Rig - is it possible ?

As beginners here at fishing fools, we are still exploring various rig setups that can be used with float fishing - one of the things that seem to crop up allot on the web is the use of "feeders" for ledgering - but we don't want to buy new rods and equipment ! as budget is a priority...so...were going to see if there is a way to use a feeder, while float fishing.

This article is a place holder for information on how to setup this rig, once we work out if it's possible  we think it involves something called a "paternoster" but we have no idea what that is....
