So...after the recent expedition to stock up on the basic Real / Rod & Tackle - a landing net was the only thing missing from the kit ...At the time the one in the shop was pricey at £17, and to be honest was a bit on the "large" size for hassle free storage
I've spent many enjoyable hours since reading up, and researching, on the Internet about fishing to better acquaint myself with what a beginner requires -- There are so many different options available through, dependent upon what type of fish your after, and importantly how large you expect the catch to be ! ! Yes that means the 34lb specimen net will have to wait a few months
....Anyway I like the idea of a no frills basic approach to fishing, so was looking for a really portable Landing net that could be stored and carried easily - this refined my search to a solution that would land big fish, store easily, and not involve going for a paddle every time something was caught...
With that in mind -- I eventually stumbled upon the bargain below - which as I write this, should be winging it's way via Royal Mail to my doorstep...It's a two part kit made up of collapsible handle, and a folding net section that "should" all fit into a back pack - The whole kit was ordered online from http://www.lathams-fishing.co.uk for the sum of £12...
