Well its coming up to that day when I get another year older and I was asked the famous question "what do I want for my Birthday". After hours of thinking the usual bread maker, blender, builders tools I decide to go out and for a drive. Whlst out I came acorss a lake so I thought I would pop in. The lake wasn't the normal course fisher but a fly fishing spot. I went in and asked about lessons and I found that they did lesson for a reasonable price.

So now I have the perfect gift coming to me, a fly fishing lesson, and I can't wait. I have already started planning what gear to take and what things I'll need, one thing I have noticed, on these trips you get to take the fish home which means I'll have to dust of the old cookery books.

When I get back I'll write up the days events Cool but in the mean time here are a couple of Hampshire's fly fishing locations that I may hopefully visit if all goes well with the lesson
